Con Updates + Future Plans

Ramblings...



Well... as you probably know from my last journal entry, I went to Dot-Con '09 last weekend. I actually finished my cat ears! It was a very small con, but it was chill and relaxing. The only bad part was that it was in the middle of nowhere and we had to walk 10-15 minutes for the nearest place to eat.

Friday wasn't so good. The dance literally had 3 people on the dancefloor at one point, and it was just an epic FAIL. Saturday was better. There was a raffle draw and I got 3 cds for $6 bucks (since the tickets were $2 each) - the person was nice enough to let us trade in our stuff for what was left, so I traded in my crappy book for more cds!

That afternoon/night, I met ~CyanideNoire's group *visit their link for the members I've met* and with a little bit of contact on cosplay.com before the con, I met ~A-Cheek too! She was nice enough to pull a Tsumugi for ~Yume-ka and I last minute for out K-on group. The Yui that was originally going to show up, never showed and my friend who had a Ritsu costume didn't go. Stevo (you need to get dA!) & ~Spyro-boy took some nice pictures for us, and thus resulted the photos that we have now. This all made the con sooo much better, and really changed my view of it.

Overall, it was great! There were 3 other people that went with us that didn't cosplay, and they just made the ride there and overall experience so much more fun because they were so random and funny =P.

Future Plans:
Con-G 2009 & MTAC 2010 (if I don't have midterms after the con): TORADORA!

Anime North 2010: Katekyo Hitman Reborn & maybe Bleach *due to ~Yume-ka's request.

I am also currently obsessed with Soul Eater. Soul x Maka are SOOO cute. Therefore, I am hunting down a guy who is as short as me to be Soul. Let's hope this turns out okay. If all turns out well, I might be able to get ~zeezu to be Soul for me. He's taller than me, but really... which guy is 5 ft tall like me. I swear, Soul is actually shorter than Maka in the anime... there's no way I'd be able to find a guy shorter than me =.=... I'm short enough as it is (frequently gets rubbed in by ~Yume-ka) even though Meng - you're not that much taller than me! *RAWR! >_<''

DA is so much better to load photos up than cosplay.com I think... haha I think cos.com has too many restrictions that just drive me INSANE!

Omgosh I was just browsing dA and i realized there's a cosplay category?!? O.O when did this happen? lol cosplay is so poppular now =P

Lol... It's always been here ever since I started... but then again I left for a year and just started using dA again in March haha =P

Oh, I've been meaning to ask... would it be possible for you to give me and Meng a wig dying tutorial thing? haha... I think we might need it =P
