I think I'm short enough to pull of a Shana, but sadly enough - I couldn't stand my long hair, so I cut it a month ago. Now it's too short for Shana - but at least yay for real hair!
Hopefully when Fall '09 comes around, my hair will be long enough to pull off a better Shana. Of course, I won't have hair down to my ankles, but hopefully at least to my waist.
We will be doing a shoot with her Katana - so look forward to that!
This was for a picnic, so we weren't really allowed to bring any weapons to the site. Also, I had extra fabric left over from my bow - so I decided that I'd just make a Melon Bread for a prop instead. After all, bread is harmless - unless you eat too much! *haha* I also used the wrong colour for the bow/lines on the uniform T_T *sniff, cries* I mean, I like how the colours match and all, but it's not exactly the right colour for her uniform.
Also didn't have the time to complete Alastor either - it's half done.
At any rate, the costume didn't take too long to make, and was easy to prep for! It was comfortable to wear the whole day at the picnic. Don't know why my socks are all bunched up and weird like that, but oh well! The next Shana will definately be better!
